Kuwait Oil Company has declared a state of emergency due to an oil spill in the western part of the country.
There have been no injuries resulting from the incident, production is not affected and no toxic gases have been detected at the site.
Kuwait Oil Company teams are at the site and following company procedures to manage the situation.
