Visa on arrival facility is suspended until further notice (though eVisa services and other type of visas are still open to public) and flights into Bahrain are being reduced.

Bahrain will deny entry to any individual who has either departed from or transited through the Republic of Iraq, the Lebanese Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran, at any point and for any period of time in the 14 days immediately preceding their arrival in the Kingdom, with the exception of Bahraini citizens and permanent residents, citizens of GCC member states and passengers with Prior Permission Granted.

Bahraini citizens and residents and citizens of GCC countries who have visited the Republic of Iraq, the Lebanese Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran, within 14 days of arriving in Bahrain will be required to undergo medical examinations recommended by the WHO, and will be transferred to dedicated quarantine facilities in the Kingdom. Passengers with Prior Permission Granted will be subject to separate screening methods.

The Bahrain/Saudi Arabia border crossing on the causeway has been temporarily suspended.
