Revetment & seawall spalling concrete repair works

Revetment repair works and seawall spalling concrete repair works are being carried out in the vicinity off Changi Beach until 7 August.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.08 of 2024, the works are being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays and public holidays - within the working areas bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

3 1°23.426'N / 103°59.747'E
4 1°23.410'N / 103°59.740'E

WORKING AREA B
1 1°23.220'N / 104°00.022'E
2 1°23.227'N / 104°00.043'E
3 1°23.118'N / 104°00.078'E
4 1°23.112'N / 104°00.062'E

Repair works will be carried out using work barges. Tugboats will be deployed to assist the barges.

A safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area,
b) Maintain a proper lookout,
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution,
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control),
e) Communicate with VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control) for assistance if required.
