Marine soil investigation works at Jurong Port

From 14 July to 14 September, marine soil investigation works will be conducted at Jurong Port.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.92 of 2025, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - at sea within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

BH5 01° 17.922'N / 103° 43.383'E

Soil investigation works will be carried out using one jack-up barge.

Two tugs will be deployed to assist the positioning of the jack-up barge.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 18 (Pasir Panjang Control); and communicate with Pasir Panjang Control for assistance, if required.
