PCR certificates for joining crew

05 Jul 2021 / South Korea

From 1 July 2021, Korean Quarantine is accepting PCR certificates in cases where over 14 days have passed since a vessel’s departure from crew joining port and the PCR certificate has been issued within 72 hours of crew’s embarkation.

Previously, the PCR certificate was not accepted if issued within 72 hours of "ship's departure from crew joining port" rather than their embarkation date.

If a vessel does not sail for over 14 days after departure from crew joining port, this regulation will not be applicable.
