As per the latest directive from the Sri Lankan health authorities, vessels that have carried out a crew change at any port in India, South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe or South America may not disembark crew in Sri Lanka until further notice.
Such vessels which have exceeded a period of 14 days since calling at the particular port can apply for disembarkation approval, which will be considered by the authorities on a case-by-case basis only.
