Measures for foreign seafarers

Control for all foreign and Indonesian vessels that call to Indonesian ports, especially Dumai Port, and all the crews coming from abroad during Corona Virus Disease 2019 pandemic (COVID-19) implemented as follows:

All foreign and Indonesian vessels coming from abroad and call to Dumai Port must enter Quarantine Zone and report to Dumai VTS.

All crews (foreign and Indonesian) coming from abroad must undergo Swab RT Antigen. If the result is Negative, the vessel will be allowed to berth after Certificate of Pratique issued from Port Health Office. However, if any crew have a positive result, all crew members must undergo PCR Test. In the case of a positive result, the vessel must be quarantined for 14 days at the Quarantine Zone area.

All expenses for RT Antigen and PCR Test will be charged to owner of the vessel.

No crew members may go ashore before Port Health check until Free Pratique is granted, except in the case of emergency or urgent situation.

Vessels are not allowed to leave the Quarantine Zone before Port Health declare the Free Pratique, except in case of emergency or urgent situation.

Vessels are prohibited to turn-off the AIS and other telecommunications.
