The Sri Lankan Government has responded positively with regards to re-commencement of land-based Isolation Centre (IC) operations for foreign seafarers in Sri Lanka. This consideration was made after the shipping industry made an appeal to the government at a meeting held on 17 March.
Hotels have been vetted for Isolation Centres and other preparations are underway.
All operations will be conducted under the strict guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and we shall keep you updated on the progress and the date of commencement of IC operations soon.
