All off-signing ship crew members are subjected to undergo COVID-19 testing at any lab/health centre approved by the Ministry of Health or be quarantined for 14 days at the dedicated quarantine centre determined by the Malaysian Ministry of Health. Exceptions to this are those who are off-signing because they are in need of medical attention.
After COVID-19 testing, the Port Health Officer will provide Home Assessment Tools and the crew shall conduct self-surveillance at home for 14 days.
