The Yemeni Ministry of Health has declared the port city of Aden as a contagious city due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Along with other epidemics such as Chikungunya, Dengue fever and malaria, COVID-19 virus is claiming the lives of dozens of citizens on a daily basis in the face of the collapse of the health system.
The port of Aden remains open and operational.
