JSW Jaigarh Port is introducing age limit for ships, applicable for both Indian and foreign flag vessels calling at out port, to encourage younger fleet to improve safety aspects.
To encourage the younger fleet of vessels and with the aim of protecting the environment, an additional differential pilotage charge as per the age of the vessel shall be applicable for all vessels arriving at JSW Jaigarh Port on or after 10 November 2022 at 0001 hours.

Additional Pilotage Dues in USD/GT: 0.00000
Vessel Age (in years): 6 to 10
Additional Pilotage Dues in USD/GT: 0.017744
Vessel Age (in years): 11 to 15
Additional Pilotage Dues in USD/GT: 0.026616
Vessel Age (in years): 16 to 20
Additional Pilotage Dues in USD/GT: 0.039924
Vessel Age (in years): 21 = >
Additional Pilotage Dues in USD/GT: 0.053232
For the purpose of the above tariff, the age of the vessel will be taken as per date of the keel laid of vessel mentioned in ship’s particulars/or any other certificate specifying the same will be required to be submitted at the time of declaration.
