Jacksonville Fla, USA – 1 September 2014: GAC has today announced that it will sponsor the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team for the 2014/2015 season.

The deal will provide GAC with the perfect platform to promote their brand to a receptive and relevant business audience; Jacksonville has been named one of the top three foreign trade zones in the world* and one of the USA’s "Top 10 Logistics-Friendly Cities"**

The sponsorship will also offer significant global exposure for the brand with NFL popularity growing around the world. Marketing research company Repucom has seen interest in NFL across key European markets double since 2011 from 5% to 10% of the population***. Specifically in the UK, where NFL matches have taken place regularly since 2007, interest has jumped from 7% to 12% - which equates to over 5 million UK adults.  This growth is expected to continue as the Jacksonville Jaguars will return to a full house at London’s Wembley Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys on 9th November as part of a four year NFL International Series deal that runs through to 2016.

GAC’s Executive Group Vice President, Bill Hill said of the partnership: "We are delighted to partner with such an exciting team as the Jacksonville Jaguars and secure a presence in the world of NFL.  Jacksonville and the Jaguars make perfect sense for us in business terms. Jacksonville’s growing population and reputation as a central logistics hub provide us with the ideal platform to promote everything GAC has to offer.

Jacksonville Jaguar’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Scott Massey said of the deal, "We’re proud to partner with a company such as GAC, with whom we share many similar values. The organizational and customer focused approach required to provide an outstanding fan experience at Jaguars games reflects the same qualities GAC excels at when fulfilling their customers global logistics needs."
