Severe weather associated with a powerful low-pressure system is continuing to impact vessel movements at ports in New South Wales.
Movements at Newcastle are restricted. Conditions are expected to improve today (3 July).
Vessel movements at Sydney and Port Botany are being handled on a case-by-case basis. Winds gusting up to 36 knots may be experienced, the swell and winds are not expected to abate until this evening (3 July).
At Port Kembla, only 2 movements are scheduled for today. Ships already in port should drop their seaside anchor and run extra lines as necessary.
