Yacht races between Hong Kong and Macao will take place on June 19 and June 21, 2026. About 12 sailing boats are expected to participate.
The outbound race from Hong Kong to Macao will start at 09:15 on June 19, 2026, in an area south of Lamma Island. It will follow a southwesterly route through the southern boundary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, then continue to Macao.
The return race from Macao to Hong Kong will start at 09:00 on June 21, 2026. It will follow a route south of the Zhizhou Islands and conclude at approximately 12:00 at the southern boundary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Masters, coxswains, and persons in charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the racing routes should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972, is mandatory.
