A yacht race from Hong Kong to Vietnam will take place on 15 October 2015 (Thursday). About 14 yachts are expected to participate in the race.
The race will commence on 15 October 2015 at 1310 hours at a place off the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter. It will follow an easterly route through the harbour, Tathong Channel and Waglan Island, thence to Vietnam.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the race routes should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 is mandatory.
