A yacht race will take place from Hong Kong to the Philippines on 16 April 2019 (Tuesday) and 17 April 2019 (Wednesday). About 18 yachts are expected to participate in the race.
The race will start at 1115 hours on 16 April 2019 and 17 April 2019 in front of the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter. It will follow an easterly route through the harbour and Tathong Channel, thence to Philippines.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the racing route should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 is mandatory.
