A yacht race between Hong Kong and Pedro Blanco in the Mainland will take place on 28 February 2015 (Saturday). About 15 yachts are expected to participate in the race. The race will start in the vicinity of Steep Island, Sai Kung at 1100 hours on 28 February 2015 (Saturday), and follow an easterly route to Pedro Blanco, the Mainland. The race will finish at Tathong Channel Separation No.1 Buoy (TCS1) at 1800 hours on 1 March 2015 (Sunday). Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to those contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 is mandatory.
