Works at Vopak Terminal

The working period for works at Vopak Terminal (Pulau Sebarok) has been extended. The work will now be carried out from 10 Dec 2019 to 09 Jun 2020.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.124 of 2019, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - at Vopak Terminals Jetty 4 (Pulau Sebarok), within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01 deg. 12·194'N / 103 deg. 48·075'E
2) 01 deg. 12·169'N / 103 deg. 48·106'E
3) 01 deg. 12·162'N / 103 deg. 48·099'E
4) 01 deg. 12·187'N / 103 deg. 48·069'E

A crane barge will be used to carry out the replacement of a steel gangway structure.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control);
and
e) Communicate with West Control on VHF Channel 68 for assistance, if required.
