The planned work stoppage by members of the Australian Institute of Marine and Power Engineers (AIMPE) employed by towage operator Smit Lamnalco at Gladstone on Tuesday 26 October has been called off.
Further meetings/negotiations between Smit Lamnalco and two marine unions have been scheduled on 4 November, with assistance from the Fair Work Commission.
