All official institutions and banks in Turkey will be closed for the Victory Day national holiday this coming Tuesday, 30August.
Vessel owners and operators are urged to make that all arrangements for crew, spares, provision, etc, are made in good time ahead of the holiday.
They should also check the status of any ports of call, as some ports may be close for the holiday and fees for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) increased by 50% (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs).
GAC Turkey’s Operations Centre will be on duty during the holiday.
