Valve installation and pipe connection works at Yau Tong Sewage Pumping Station

For approximately seven months, valve installation and pipe connection works will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22° 17.635'N / 114° 13.997'E
(B) 22° 17.626'N / 114° 13.965'E
(C) 22° 17.673'N / 114° 13.950'E
(D) 22° 17.682'N / 114° 13.982'E

The works will be carried out by two work boats. One dumb lighter, one tugboat and two landing pontoons will provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 10 metres around the work boats will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.

The hours of work will be round the clock. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will not stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
