07 Jul 2022 / Australia

Changes to the Biosecurity Act came into effect from 12.01am 6 July, removing the final layers of border measures in place to limit the spread of COVID-19 through the arrival of international travellers.

Travellers to Australia, including commercial maritime crew, are no longer required to provide evidence of vaccination, and the ABF Vessel Vaccination declaration is no longer required to be presented on arrival.
