Fog persists along the Upper Texas Coast, especially offshore Galveston. However, the Bay area is patchy, and little change is expected today (20 March) with more fog expected this evening and overnight. Rain is still well to the north, but a slow moving cold front will arrive on Saturday, bringing heavy rain and easterly winds. The threat of fog remains until Saturday afternoon.
