Updated entry regulations

28 Jun 2021 / Taiwan

Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center has announced comprehensive measures to improve the epidemic prevention measures for commanders in effect since yesterday (27 June), as follows:

  • Quarantine measures for entry records of "key high-risk countries" (travel history in the past 14 days, including transit): a centralized quarantine station 4 days after entry from the airport or seaport, and inspections must be carried out during the observation period and the quarantine period. The "key high-risk countries" are Brazil and India, including 7 countries including the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, Israel, Indonesia and Gala.

  • For all travels outside of the travel history of the 7 countries, you should stay at the epidemic prevention hotel or stay at the centralized quarantine station at your own expense for 14 days after the travel, and cooperate with the inspection before the recuperation quarantine period.
