Underwater inspection works from Siu Sai Wan to eastern boundary of Hong Kong waters

For approximately two months, underwater inspection works will be carried out at the following locations (WGS 84 Datum):

(B) 22° 16.263’N / 114° 15.078’E
(C) 22° 16.238’N / 114° 15.091’E
(D) 22° 13.612’N / 114° 15.946’E
(E) 22° 12.190’N / 114° 16.553’E
(F) 22° 12.023’N / 114° 16.823’E
(G) 22° 11.935’N / 114° 16.861’E
(H) 22° 11.891’N / 114° 16.880’E
(I) 22° 11.848’N / 114° 16.898’E
(J) 22° 11.831’N / 114° 16.905’E
(K) 22° 11.805’N / 114° 16.916’E
(L) 22° 11.760’N / 114° 16.936’E
(M) 22° 11.713’N / 114° 16.956’E
(N) 22° 11.652’N / 114° 18.899’E
(O) 22° 11.342’N / 114° 29.878’E

The works will be carried out by one special purpose vessel. One tugboat will provide assistance. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 150 metres around the special purpose vessel will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.

The hours of work will be round-the-clock.

Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works area at slow speed, bearing in mind that there are divers working in the area.
