Typhoon Nida is moving to Guangdong and is expected to be rather close to Hong Kong and the vicinity of The Pearl River Estuary tomorrow (2 August).
At 0800 Hong Kong time today, the typhoon was about 530km east-southeast of Hong Kong at 20.2 deg. N, 188.8 deg. E, and was forecast to edge closer to the coast gradually and continue to intensify.
