The transport strike has been called off after the National Highways Authority of India have assurances that road repair works will be completed within 72 hours.
Members of the All Transport Association of Kandla, Mundra and Kutch had begun a “No Road No Toll” protest on Friday (12 September) in view of unresolved issues concerning road infrastructure, highway maintenance and the challenges faced by transporters.
