Bad weather has forced the suspension of vessel traffic in the Turkish Straits.
Vessel traffic in the Dardanelles was suspended in both directions due to bad weather at 03:00 hours local time today (8 January). Southbound vessel traffic in the Dardanelles resumed at 20:45 hours local time.
In the Bosphorus, vessel traffic was suspended at 11:40 hours local time due to strong southern wind and counter current. Southbound traffic will resume 17:00 hours local time.
