Towage rate increases

Svitzer Towage has announced towage rate increases at the ports in Australia where it operates, effective from 1 April 2016.

The percentage increases per port are as follows:

  • Adelaide Region 3%
  • Albany 0.6%
  • Brisbane 5%
  • Eden 5%
  • Fremantle & Kwinana 1.41%
  • Kwinana Lines 5%
  • Geelong 5%
  • Geraldton 0%
  • Melbourne 6.8%
  • Newcastle 10.8%
  • Port Botany 7.9%
  • Port Jackson 11.5%
  • Port Jackson Gore Cove 5%
  • Port Kembla 5%
  • Port Bonython 5%
  • Port Giles 3%
  • Port Pirie 5%
  • Wallaroo 5%
  • Westernport 5%
  • Whyalla TBA
