Due to a 3-day holiday in Turkey from Friday 1 May (Labour Day), official institutions and banks in Turkey will be closed on 1 May and the weekend. Arrangements for crew, and vessel spares/provisions, during this period should be made in good time ahead of the holiday. Some ports may be closed on Labour Day and charge for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) increased by 50%. Therefore, please check prior to calling at any Turkish Port.
