Threatened strike could affect maritime traffic

A threatened strike by municipal/communal services could affect Oslo's Vessel Traffic Control for maritime traffic entering/leaving the port starting from tomorrow (27 May). If the strike goes ahead, it will involve seven of the ports Traffic Control staff. However, it is expected that the remaining staff will maintain normal, or near normal operations, from 27 to 31 May. If the strike continues beyond the end of the month, all vessel traffic at Oslo - including ferries and charter boats will come to a halt.
