The Bosphorus was closed to transit traffic between 00:10 and 01:10 hours local time this morning (19 November) after a vessel experienced an engine malfunction around first bridge area during her Tuzla-Yuzhny northbound transit.
The strait was closed until the vessel was assisted by tugs to the Southern Bosphorus Anchorage area.
