The Kiel Canal Authority has announced that one big new lock chamber at Kiel locks will be temporarily closed between 0700 and 1600 hours local time today (29 January), tomorrow (30 January), 31 January and 1 February, due to maintenance works. During these times, only one big lock chamber will be in operation.
