Super Typhoon Nepartak was located near 1948N/12742E, approx. 500 NM south-east of Taipei, Taiwan at 6th/09Z. The intensity of the system is now estimated to 150kts with gusts up to 180 kts.
Nepartak is forecast to continue tracking NW-ward toward Central Taiwan, where it will make landfall late 7th.
The Super Typhoon will begin to weaken when interacting with land, from 7th and seem to track N-NE-ward later on over Eastern China. Forecasted track and intensity are somewhat uncertain after 7th.
