25 Nov 2015 / Galveston Bay, USA
Easterly winds have been slowly bringing back the moisture to the [Galveston Bay] area but as the winds increase in the coming days and a warm front lifts north into the area the increase in moisture may favor the development of fog/sea fog in and around the area Wednesday afternoon and through the night.
Dense sea fog could be possible but with the winds changing from east to southeast may lessen the fog threat by mid-morning Thanksgiving Day.
As temperatures fall Thursday night the fog threat may return again and could extend down the coast into the Matagorda Bay region.
This persistent southeasterly flow will continue through Saturday before relaxing. A cold front late Sunday or early Monday will likely scour out any fog but may bring isolated strong thunderstorms.
