Strikes called by port staff & dockers for today (8 April) have been called off.
The notices of work stoppage, cancellation of overtime and ‘dead port’ operation from the national port staff and dockers’ union, as was the notice for the strike by port staff rigging shore gangway from 05:00 local time today until until 05:00 tomorrow, potentially affecting the berthing & sailing of vessels at Donges’ terminal and Montoir liquid terminal.
Meanwhile, the strike by the local dockers’ union at the port of Montoir/Nantes/Saint-Nazaire – originally called 06:pp on 4 April until 08:00 on 12 April was lifted on at 14:00 on 5 April but resumed later that same evening.
