Strikes affecting pilotage, towage and mooring

Strikes and industrial action at several French ports may cause disruption, delays or operational halts in the coming week.

Boludra & Le Havre boatmen have announced a 24-hour strike from 00:00 hours on May 5, 2026, which could affect towing and mooring services.

Towage services at Saint Nazaire, Montoir, Donges and Nantes may be impacted by a strike from 09:00 hours on May 5, 2026, to 09:00 hours on May 6, 2026.

There will be a strike by towage company staff at the ports of Fos, Lavera and Marseille from 07:00 hours on May 5, 2026 to 07:00 hours on May 6, 2026.

Cherbourg, Caen, Calais and Dunkirk are unaffected or report no expected disruptions.
