The Suez Canal Authority has issued circular 06/2025 concerning stay dues for vessels performing logistical operations at the Northern Entrance, Southern Entrance, and waiting areas at Port Said Port, Lake Timsah and the Bitter Lakes.
Berthing dues shall be levied at the Southern Entrance in the waiting areas ("V AREA") of the Suez Canal Authority for periods exceeding 48 hours for vessels performing logistical operations.
These dues will be collected from 1 January 2026, subject to the annual tariff review.
A new unified berthing tariff will be applied, as follows:
From Day 1 to 10
- 5 US cents per ton of Gross Tonnage per day
From Day 11 to 20
- 10 US cents per ton of Gross Tonnage per day
Exceeding 20 days
- 30 US cents per ton of Gross Tonnage per day
