State of Public Emergency declared

With effect from 17 March, a state of public emergency exists in The Bahamas and emergency powers are in effect.

The emergency powers cover a range of matters including the imposition of restrictions & requirements, detention/isolation of individuals suspected of being infected with COVID-19, requisition powers, imposed social distancing/isolation, curfew, etc.
