China’s Ministry of Transport has announced that the collection of special port charges for US Ships is suspended for one year.
Implementation was suspended effective from 10 November, following the consensus reached during the 2025 U.S.-China Kuala Lumpur economic and trade consultations, and with the approval of the State Council in synchronization with the U.S. side's suspension of the final measures under the Section 301 investigation into China's maritime, logistics, and shipbuilding sectors.
