Soil investigation works using vibro-core

From 10 September to 9 December, soil investigation work using vibro-core will be conducted in Singapore waters.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.102 of 2025, the works will be carried out between 0700 and 1900 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - at sea, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates:
1) 01°17.964'N / 103°36.814'E
2) 01°17.133'N / 103°40.396'E
3) 01°13.539'N / 103°47.727'E
4) 01°14.973'N / 103°48.656'E
5) 01°16.231'N / 103°52.659'E
6) 01°14.945'N / 103°51.488'E
7) 01°16.187'N / 103°53.226'E
8) 01°14.957'N / 103°54.277'E
9) 01°16.853'N / 103°53.838'E
10) 01°18.140'N / 103°57.111'E
11) 01°16.845'N / 103°54.249'E
12) 01°17.379'N / 103°53.983'E
13) 01°18.946'N / 104°03.048'E
14) 01°18.985'N / 104°04.676'E

Clearing of seabed of debris and armored rocks shall be carried out for the preparation of marine piles installation works.

The retrieval of these debris and armored rocks shall be carried out using work barges with lifting cranes or excavators.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control), VHF Channel 68 (West Control), VHF Channel 12 (East Control); and communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
