Soil investigation works off Loyang Jetty

From 23 June to 31 August, soil investigation works will be carried out off Loyang Jetty.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.79 of 2025, the work will be conducted at sea, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01°23.181'N / 103°57.921'E
2) 01°23.200'N / 103°57.972'E
3) 01°23.219'N / 103°58.022'E
4) 01°23.119'N / 103°57.910'E
5) 01°23.138'N / 103°57.960'E
6) 01°23.157'N / 103°58.011'E
7) 01°23.176'N / 103°58.061'E
8) 01°23.068'N / 103°57.929'E
9) 01°23.087'N / 103°57.979'E
10) 01°23.106'N / 103°58.030'E
11) 01°23.125'N / 103°58.080'E
12) 01°23.018'N / 103°57.948'E
13) 01°23.037'N / 103°57.998'E
14) 01°23.056'N / 103°58.049'E
15) 01°23.075'N / 103°58.099'E

The working hours will be 0800-1800 (daylight Hours Only) from Monday to Saturday, excluding Public Holiday.

Soil investigation works will be carried out using a Multicat Workboat.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
