Shore leave is generally still not permitted at Norwegian ports, and only work in connection with vessel operation within ISPS areas is permitted.
However, more and more police districts – such as Oslo, Stavanger (Rogaland) and Aalesund (More and Romsdal) – are relaxing or abolishing these restrictions.
