Hong Kong Observatory has issued a Tropical Cyclone Warning Bulletin about Severe Tropical Storm Fengshen, which was about 490km south-southwest of Hong Kong at 8am this morning (21 October).
Strong Wind Signal No. 3 is in force, which means that winds with mean speeds of 41-62 km per hour are expected, and will stay in force until at least 6pm today.
Under the combined effect of Fengshen and the northeast monsoon, winds will be generally strong over the territory today, occasionally reaching gale force on high ground. Fengshen will move southwestwards gradually and depart from Hong Kong today.
