Sediment sampling off Ninepin Group

For approximately one month, sediment sampling works [are being] carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (G):
(A) 22º 17.366’N 114º 23.409’E
(B) 22º 16.590’N 114º 25.987’E
(C) 22º 15.993’N 114º25.985’E
(D) 22º 15.991’N 114º26.100’E
(E) 22º 15.126’N 114º 26.107’E
(F) 22º 14.574’N 114º 24.536’E
(G) 22º15.185’N 114º 24.601’E

The works [are being] carried out by two flat top work barges. One tugboat and one launch provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 100 metres around each barge [is] established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights [are] laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the barges.

The hours of work [are] round-the-clock.

Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
