Security update (1 May)

Following the events on Easter Sunday (21 April), Sri Lanka was brought to a standstill. The past week has seen constant police curfews, high security threat levels and following up police investigations into the bombings.

The police curfew has now been discontinued in the Colombo Metropolitan areas while a general sense of security awareness remains.

The Port of Colombo and all other ports in the country are operating as normal, as are Government institutes and the private sector. GAC Sri Lanka is conducting business as usual.
