Seawall repair works at Joss House Bay

Repairs to the seawall at Joss Bay are being conducted between 0700 and 1900 hours for approximately five months.

The work is being carried out by one dumb lighter with assistance from a tugboat, which display signals prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 50 metres is established around the lighter, with yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of its anchors extending from the lighter.

A silt curtain is established within the works area with yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights marking its extent.

No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.
