Seabed reinstatement works near Butterfly Bay, Tuen Mun

For approximately six months, seabed reinstatement works will be carried out in the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (E):

(A) 22° 21.435'N / 113° 57.265'E
(B) 22° 21.399'N / 113° 57.352'E
(C) 22° 21.082'N / 113° 57.232'E
(D) 22° 21.110'N / 113° 57.133'E
(E) 22° 21.318'N / 113° 57.213'E

The works will be carried out by one hopper barge. One tugboat and one guard boat will provide assistance. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around the hopper barge will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.

The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will not stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
