A sea parade comprising about 30 fishing vessels will take place in the Victoria Harbour on 1 July 2025 to celebrate the 28th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Participating vessels will gather in the waters west of Kai Tak at about 0930 hours. The parade will start at about 1030 hours following a route along the Hung Hom Fairway, Central Fairway and Southern Fairway to the waters off Kennedy Town, and then turn eastbound along the above Fairways to the waters off North Point. The parade will repeat the same route before dispersal in the waters west of Kai Tak at about 1300 hours.

Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches will be deployed to regulate marine traffic during the passage of the sea parade.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and give a wide berth to the parade fleet and comply with any directions given by the Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches.

Besides, the landing steps No. 1 and No. 2 of Kowloon Public Pier will be temporarily closed from 0900 hours to 1300 hours on 1 July 2025. Owners and coxswains of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the period of closure.
