Sea Parade

A sea parade comprising two ferries and about eighteen pleasure vessels will take place on 6 July 2014. Participating vessels will gather in the waters off the west of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) at about 1630 hours. The parade will start at about 1645 hours, follow a route passing the HKCEC and disperse at the west entrance of Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter at about 1715 hours. A fireboat will display water jets along the parade route. Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches will be deployed to regulate marine traffic during the passage of the sea parade. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, give a wide berth to the parade fleet and comply with any direction given by the Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches.
